Adelaine Development, Inc. features Wausau Homes providing extended options in efficient and valuable building systems. Wausau Homes are panelized construction and can be built to any custom designed print or using one of our 250 proven plans. Panelized construction uses 26% less lumber, generates 76% less waste and is constructed in just 37% of the man hours to a similar, site stick built home. All of these factors add up to a quicker building process saving you money.

In 2005 we built a beautiful new model home for our office and design center located at 8555 Commerce Court (off of West Conway Road next to the Humane Society) in Harbor Springs. Here we are able to show our customers the quality they can expect and options to select from when building with the Adelaine Team. Everything is a possibility! Our model home and office is open between 8am and 4:30pm, Monday thru Friday and by appointment on weekends for your convenience. Good communication is the key to success and our model home and office exude an upbeat professional atmosphere for meetings. We also have the ability to use digital pictures and e-mail to keep our customers constantly in-touch with their project.

Adelaine Construction began with the involvement of Steve Adelaine Sr. and his son Steven Adelaine years ago and we are continuing in that family atmosphere. Company president, Steven visits every project daily lending his extensive knowledge to our craftsman. Steven's daughter, Melissa provides complete coordination of projects and design assistance with on site experience. Our newest team member, Noah, Steven's son has years of crew experience with a Construction Management degree and is Forman on the job.

Our sister company; Adelaine Construction, Inc. builds custom, log, addition/remodel and light commercial projects. Our custom homes range from craftsman to traditional to cottage style. We construct hand-crafted log homes either half or full log construction with all our own specialty log working tools. Our remodeling projects have been small kitchen redesign to a full off the foundation restorations. We also enjoy working in light commercial; we turned a doctor’s office to 50’s style restaurant in approximately 30 days.
